Really great vibes, bright, bustling, but still on point personable attentive service. Brunch was decent. Pastries were great - the carrot cake was super moist. Long black was perfect.

Host immediately greeted us and was very welcoming. Being very hungry, we asked for a lemon pistachio cake to share while we waited for our meals. It was pretty good, with a very lemony glaze. My dining companion had a flat white which was delivered to our table very quickly. It was aesthetically pleasing and the report was that it was good. I just drank water which was provided via a jug on the table and served at room temperature which delighted me! I dug in when my chicken torta came - the roll was delightfully toasted with mango sauce both on the roll and on the side. This sauce was great. I also enjoyed the razor thin radish slices and the very fresh vegetables on the sandwich. The chicken didn't do much for me and I could've done without it. This dish came with a side of house made chips and these were my favorite out of everything; so light and just perfectly fried and seasoned. My companion ordered the potato hash and did not particularly care for it. We got individual carrot cakes to go - the ingredients are, in my opinion, what makes a carrot cake a carrot cake - discernible pieces of carrot, nuts and raisins. That's right, I said it - raisins. The cake was moist and the frosting was light. Nothing super sweet about it, so that brought me pleasure. Server was sweet, the place was clean, it was very noisy, but it was the noise of people out together enjoying themselves, so I couldn't hate that.

Hey, this place is a must-visit! I was pleasantly surprised to discover that they offer a variety of coffee flavors, including Matcha Latte. During our second visit, we had the opportunity to try their amazing brunch menu. The service was top-notch. If you're in Portland, I highly recommend checking it out, but be prepared for a wait of about 45 minutes.

Good service and yummy drinks. With family visiting here and cool hang out to chill and grab some coffee

Delicious! But a really long wait for your food. Their food was so good here. We cleaned off every speck of food from the plate. We ordered the beet salad, avocado toast, shakshuka, and the hotcake, and ate them in that order. It was the perfect course to eat them in that order. Each one built off the other. The shakshuka was by far my favorite. The flavors and textures are great. I just wish it came with a little bit more bread. The salad was extremely fresh and the flavors complimented each other perfectly. Avocado toast was good, but pretty much like your average avo toast. And the ricotta cake was so moist! It's genius to add that to the batter. Loved the amount of sweetness and the moisture in the cake. My only 2 complaints are we were seated at a 2 person table with a party of 3 so we felt very squished. I understand they were busy but it made it a little difficult to eat with all of the plates on a pretty small table. The other thing is that after we ordered, we waited almost an entire hour before our food came out (after already waiting 30 min for a table). I was starving and hangry by the time the food finally came out. I wish they would have served things as they came out because they waited to serve everything together. So since we wanted to eat the salad and avo toast first, by the time we got to the hotcake and shakshuka it had gotten a bit cold. Otherwise, the food was delicious.

My family has been coming to Proud Mary for years. Our favorite treat is ricotta cake.

This is a must visit if you're in the area! The coffee was great -- I got the Aussie Iced Coffee with ice cream but there's plenty of other options if you're not into something sweet. The ricotta hotcakes so perfectly balanced: syrup for sweetness, matcha for bitterness and sesame crackers for a beautiful savory crunch. The only thing I would change is I would've brought a friend, the portion sizes are awesome and I could not finish it all! The ambience is also very fun and vibrant, but the decor is simple and muted which again was a very nice balance. Finally, the service was phenomenal. Everyone was attentive and happy to explain anything on the menu.

Great and friendly service. Beautiful interior with indoor and outdoor seating and even a to-go window! The ricotta pancake was presented beautifully! I could only finish third of it since it was such a large portion! The magic mocha was delicious!

Amazing coffee roast and bean selection. It's wonderful that they provide producer and tasting information about their specialty beans. The brunch menu is delicious and beautifully presented. All the menus are not too heavy but very satisfying, having different textures and various flavors. They also change the menu periodically, so every visit offers something new to try. The staff is very kind, and the barista is incredibly knowledgeable. Occasionally, there's a wait, but other times there's none. There are indoor and outdoor seating options, large communal tables, and a quick take-out coffee window. This is definitely my favorite brunch spot in Portland.

Came here on a recommendation from a past local. Very intrigued by the Australian style of this restaurant. Environment The restaurant is very full with bustling all around and tables well spaced but definitely full and taking all possible space inside. The ceilings are high and the decor makes it feel very inviting and fresh. Food The food was very good. Very well crafted and elaborate meals. Flavors could be more of a punch in some places, but overall very good. And great portion sizes as well. Coffee We ordered the ghost ride which included the most interesting espresso shot ever! And we ordered a latte which was very rich and flavorful. Not your standard latte. Service Was very friendly and upbeat. Super nice wait staff.
